so, one of my bro's friend who's in the same situation as me now, not being able to get a place in a local uni, is giving me ideas that my consideration of a full-time degree for mass com at SIM is not that good.

She's from ngee ann mass com and well, i believe in that area she's studying in, she'll be more familiar with the degrees ahead. she recommended the part-time one at SIM by RMIT. she knows of companies who largely uses ppl holding this particular degree and says that their payslips as interns are high too! and so, i went to look up the website again and the application closing date is 3rd of june! like we just discussed it last sat night and when i've got the brochures and everything, too bad, app closed.

feeling panicky, i called the admin office but they said they could not extend the app also ):

which means, if i die die wanna do this, i've gotta wait for admission next year in sep. which is more than a year from now! i don't think i wanna waste another year, but then again, what is one year compared to spending a whole lotta money on the US based degree if its not really recognised in singapore??

i'm feeling so so so screwed.

okay, and so i just called her again. telling her how stressful im feeling; and then she was also suggesting doing a degree at SMa which is with Murdoch University, which alot of her seniors are doing too. She's willing to go down with me to the headquarters to enquire more about the course and i'm now like all out to get a place soon.

i shall call the admin office to enquire about it, like, NOW.

so, i've just enquired about the course at SMa, and it starts 19 JULY!! omg.
i'll need to do a diploma in mass communications first(since i'm from the JC batch) which takes a year and then continue with the degree programme. so, all in all, its about 3 years, if not lesser. i'll be going down to the headquarters w my bro's friend-yiling, tmrw for application.

and i hope this doesn't affect my taiwan trip from the 23-27 which i'm so excited for! what to expect, it's my first trip out w friends ONLY! :D
